When Reason Meets the Heart

At the end of the twentieth century, it was determined that string theory has the capacity to reconcile the laws of general relativity with quantum mechanics. At the beginning of the twenty-first century, an astronomer came up with the brilliant idea of creating a theory capable of unifying the mind and the heart into a single "feel-think" - but is such a thing truly possible?

Giovann Sabattini, an astronomy student at the Pontifical Catholic University of Chile, spent his feverish years as an aspiring astronomer frantically attempting to fuse these two powerful human forces. His experiments resulted in disappointment and heartbreak, leading him to realise that many differential equations in an "elegant" world are in complete imbalance. He sought refuge in psychotropic substances and women with tainted mentalities, trying to soothe his frustration at being unable to understand a simple equation (mind + heart =?) with which he hoped to fulfil a dream: to build a family in total peace and harmony. All his attempts led him into an endless cycle of trial and error with no success, turning his life into a complete Calabi-Yau. This forced him to search tirelessly, with great inspiration and skill, for the correct variables that would allow him to unify reason and emotion into a formula that would define his new theory.
