When He Calls

WHEN HE CALLS is a captivating allegory that portrays the fast-paced changes happening in the world and Jesus' ardent desire to bring his beloved Bride together.
This is a riveting account of the final struggle between the Bride of Christ and the forces of darkness, culminating in Revelations 21 and 22. The setting is all too recognizable as an America growing in apostasy under a corrupt government led by the Bungling Buffoon and his Entourage of Evil. The unseen hand orchestrating events is The Father of Lies (Satan). But, even as the nation descends into darkness, a remnant of the Beloved arises, contending for the faith and pulling those heading for the fire to safety. From her assigned place on the Wall, a watchman - the author - reports the things she sees: foreigners pushing through the open borders, children being trafficked and abused, and open immorality in the streets. New legislation promotes perversions while targeting Christians for "hate crimes" when they speak against such things. The scenes before her are so brutal that every so often, she has to withdraw into the sanctuary of her home, unable to bear the weight.
But The Lover of Our Souls, Jesus, is always there to lift her and offer new strength and revelation. Figures from the past, King David and apostle John, are also there to fortify her. Then, she is back on the Wall. She is not a passive observer, but each scene is punctuated by her cries and pleas for the souls of those whose Satan's lies have beguiled. Ultimately, the Bride of Christ is ready to meet the Bridegroom, though many lose their way, having loved this world more than the Lover of Our Souls. Yet, He is still calling all to come.
