Maya Vane is an anomaly. In a society that worships the cloud, she fixes the things you can touch-broken air
conditioners, rusted pipes, and the fading memories of a sister who vanished into the digital void. She trusts grease,
not code.

But when a glitch in the sky tears reality open, Maya and three strangers, a corporate heir trying to escape his
legacy, a hacker who speaks in jazz, and a gardener fighting for the last patch of green soil, are pulled into The
Synapse.

It is a pocket dimension of impossible beauty, a server room built by gods where gravity is a suggestion and matter is
programmable. It was supposed to be a lifeboat for humanity.
