THE BURREN READING

The wall held something that was not finished. Five months after a stone inscription in Gyeonggi Province spoke a coordinate no one expected, the six people it named are converging on a cliff fold above the Atlantic - the place the design calls its own origin, sealed in the Burren's ancient karst since before the pyramids. Inside waits the first and only record of an argument the network's original thirty implementors never resolved. Han Soo-Yeon, Dr. Ren Nakamura, and four others are assembling in County Clare to finish it. But this keeping has been found by the wrong kind of attention before, and a dying man carrying three generations of inherited obsession has already decided what the world will not be allowed to have for free. The convergence is no longer a question of readiness. It is a race against a man who has chosen, finally, that if he cannot open the door, no one will. THE BURREN READING is Book Five of The Convergence Sequence - the novel where every thread the series has been pulling since Book One meets in one Irish cliff fold, with a five-thousand-year deadline and a dying man standing in the way.
