Every six years, the sun goes down at 6:06.

And when it does, Sundown remembers who it really is.

Once a notorious sundown town where Black children were hunted, erased, and buried beneath lies, Sundown has since been polished-gentrified, integrated, and dressed up as progress. The signs are gone. The stories are "complicated." The violence is "long ago."

But history does not disappear.

It waits.

For six nights, an unnatural darkness swallows the town whole. From that darkness, six Black children return-long dead, unnervingly calm-each killing in a way that mirrors the violence once done to them. They do not hunt randomly. They hunt descendants. Beneficiaries. Tourists. Non-believers. And anyone desperate enough to deny what Sundown was built on.

Caught in the center of the reckoning are three children who were never meant to survive it:
