Skeleton Key follows Jamie and Indi, two adventurous friends whose ordinary day of soccer quickly turns into a surreal and dangerous journey. After losing a bet and his best friend's prized soccer ball, Jamie attempts to retrieve it from an overgrown thicket behind their field. However, their search leads them to a decrepit, mysterious house hidden in the trees. Inside, they encounter a strange, ancient elevator that transports them into an otherworldly adventure filled with trials, magic, and peril.

As they explore the strange locations-including fiery caverns and eerie forests-they discover magical artifacts. Their newfound tools lead them deeper into the mysteries of the house, revealing a network of interconnected realms filled with mythical creatures, puzzles, and cryptic guardians like the skeletal guide, Ben.

The duo must navigate deadly challenges while unravelling the secrets of a map etched into the walls of the elevator. Along the way, Jamie and Indi realize they're part of a larger quest tied to ancient symbols and treasures. However, the price of this knowledge may be higher than they expect, testing their courage, friendship, and ingenuity.
