In this reinterpretation of Dvorak's personality and work, Michael Beckerman offers an insight into the composer's life and music and introduces a wealth of new information about the origins of the composer's "New World" symphony. Focusing on the composer's three-year stay in the US - from 1892 to 1895 - Beckerman explores the world behind the legend and his music.
