Lizzy is born in the city of Philadelphia, right smack dead in the middle of West Philly. The hood is already bad, but it's even worse for Lizzie because her mother is a drug addicted prostitute who cares more about the streets than her own daughter. Project Life 101 is Lizzy's first classroom. And in order to pass the class, you have to be able to endure hell. Survival is slim when Lizzy's mother just disappears and leaves Lizzy to fend for herself at the age of eight. That's when life begins to take Lizzy on a rollercoaster ride. She finds herself in different homes and schools that shape her into a lost, confused young lady, who has a need to accomplish more than what she was given. She tries to fight the person the world has made her into. until her attempts fail. Instead of going the conventional route to success, her life experiences push her to be a product of her upbringing. And that's when the DNA from an unknown contributor marched through her bloodstream. Making her into someone NO ONE would have seen coming. And once the secret is out, it's too late. Will Lizzy survive the same streets her mother fell victim to, or will she rise above the average life she has been subjected to since childhood?
