"Before anyone sets their critical eye on what is written in this book, I would like to express my deep condolences regarding any offence I might have caused, and that the reader should know that the book is simply an objective account of what John Powell, the white supremacist, is and was. It is by no means a glorification of what this abhorrent human being did, but rather, to be a platform for critical discussion and objective contemplation.
I, the author, completely reject the racist and downright sickening views of this man and any other racists affiliated with him, and that any hint of the contrary is a false assumption. Moreover, there will be a few mentions of the word 'N***o' within this book, and the reader should know that I have written them with full knowledge of how deeply offensive these monikers are, and their use is only used to provide historical context, properly cite the names of certain unfortunate works, and deeply condemn the viewpoints of one of Powell's most infamous and downright abominable lines.
This is an historical study of the composer, and being a appraisal, an objective viewpoint will be taken, but Powell will be criticised whenever possible. The construction of the argument must be off-putting to some, but know that I myself was shocked by what this man did, and that putting it in writing was no easy task.
