Helltown

A hard-boiled DETECTIVE'S only way out of the noir streets of Helltown is to decide the fate of the chick that shot him, if he can find her.

Playing him for a patsy, the Helltown Council sends a DETECTIVE to Helltown to retrieve Misplaced souls before his rival, and now lover, the FEMME FATALE, can get them into the eternal system. The only way the Detective can leave Helltown is to find Cora, the chick who drilled him, and decide her fate.

But Cora is much more important than that. The Femme Fatale snatches Cora because the Detective can't leave without her. Cora escapes and disappears into the dark grit of Helltown. She wants nothing to do with the Detective, though she has a compulsion to shoot him.

The MAYOR realizes who Cora is and sends his goons to find her. She is the key to the Mayor's evil plans, and to settle his personal grudge against the Detective.

With the help of his spunky Secretary, Nora, the Detective recues Cora after a wild ride down the River Styx. While chatting with the the LADY-in-White in her pristine white Cadillac, the only ride out of Helltown, he makes his decision.
