Finding My-Self takes an occult approach to autobiography. The book quickly engages with the nature of the self which is composed of soul (or higher Self) and personality (or lower self). The nature of the personality is considered and then attention turns to the soul and how it can be invoked by meditation. Visualisation is seen as a useful means by which to stimulate the thinking process which carefully, persistently and regularly adopted can be expected to help us draw the thinker closer to the soul.
