Evandum

17 year old Aries Archaios and his 10,000 year old society of humans that will live to nearly half a million years, are faced with a planet ending asteroid hurled at their world by ancient beings of light power and immortality. They must escape to a nearby planet in the same solar system to repair their spaceship capable of forming a wormhole at the center of the sun, to escape to another star system and start fresh on a new planet. While on the temporary planet controlled by the same light power beings that seek to destroy them, Aries and other specially created and trained forces from the youngest birthing cycle are sent undercover to the nearby undeveloped tribes to deescalate a looming war that grows between a cannibalistic tribe and an ultramarathon running tribe.
If war occurs, the same beings of light power they are fleeing from will recognize their presence and travel there to extinguish them. They must mine resources to repair their ship quick enough to migrate their population of almost 400,000 genetically engineered humans before they are found. Through the dangers of the planet that resembles earth 220 million years ago, Aries and his fellow trained special forces are strained to the most challenging of circumstances that lead them to evolve quick or be forgotten in time.
We follow 4 POV's that recount the story of Evandum and the travels of Aries and his people, the Sudamites, as they blend in the tribe of the Kaidekai and the Yushai. We also hear from Lyra, a member of the Kaidekai tribe and a completely different world than our technologically advanced Sudamites. As she spends more time alongside Aries and his people, they begin to form a bond beyond simply surviving.
