There are days spent walking these halls, when the differences between nightmare and reality become indistinguishable. Scarlet is in her second year of college, fighting to find a balance between exhaustion and normalcy. The stress is weighing on her mind day by day. She works two jobs and goes to class to find a better life, but now she spends those nights wide awake. She worries about how long she can keep up with this hectic pace and deny the thoughts that creep in, demanding that she give up her pursuits. Her eyes hang heavy as she comes into the class. Her head drops, and her mind is shrouded in blank thoughts. The darkness moves in from her eyelids, that are so heavy, they can't hold themselves up anymore. When she can no longer fight it, the nightmares start. She sees a potentially dangerous future. But that can't be, it's only an eerie dream.

"But what if it isn't? It was so vivid and real, just like the table sitting in front of me. They might think I'm crazy, if I warn them of this grave premonition, but I can't live with the resulting guilt that will press down on me, if the events are fully realized. I have to find a way to help before it's too late."

The cold fog rolls in through the computer room, and she can't shake the thought that something far worse waits for her.
