Radical aspects in Muslim societies in general contradict modern Western values, such as freedom of expression, gender equality, animal rights, women's rights, and human rights. The rise of fundamentalist Islam in Europe is not a matter of suspicion anymore, it is a status quo with repercussions on European politics and social frameworks.
Malevolent activities conducted by outsiders may cancel out the efforts undertaken by European organizations to integrate immigrants into European societies and may pose a risk that the resulting social environments could form the breeding ground for further disintegration and radicalization.
So, what is the future of Islam in Europe? Or rather, what is the future of Europe with Muslim citizens ever-growing in size, influence, and segregation? I do not have the answers to these questions, but I simply present facts in this book and give recommendations for a way out.
