Olaf Slinkster possesses a special talent that allows him to schmooze people into doing things that they might not normally want to do. One day, he uses the dubious skill to try and get away with a 5-finger discount at a warehouse club. But it sets in motion a manhunt to track him down. He decides to hide out in Wine Country, and while there, use his charisma and charm to score some freebie wine tastings. Meanwhile, the authorities are closing in on him. Charismatic is a fun, humorous satire, bringing back some of the same nutty characters from our previous books, Kook City and Recorked. It's an enjoyable story for anyone who has had to deal with fast-talking charismatic types in their lives, whether you've wanted to hug them or clobber them.
