Branched Divinity

When he spent his life atoning a sin he didn't commit; a death he blamed himself for everyday... To one day be faced with a death sentence of his own he chose not to go down without a fight leaving his life a legend amongst the people who once stood beside him... Then after taking his final breaths, face to face with a bright light he didn't expect to see much but when a disheveled drunken man holds his hands out at his sides telling the story of his life to a crowd of people and creatures he couldn't comprehend saying... 

"He Was Now A God..." 

What was he meant to do? And when the one he spent his life searching for was standing there glowing with the kindest smile as a goddess, he could've either fallen and wallowed into madness... Or accept it and learn to live within this new world...

Branched Divinity-Mirrored; is a story of grief coming to terms with what has happened and accepting things cannot be changed overcoming turmoil; realizing hard truths and entering transitions that all people have to face while also grappling with a bizarre reality of having an eternity to deal with all those things at a later time but this group is young very much so despite the status forced upon them they all were mortal not that long ago and they need to learn to have a balance. Living a semi-normal life in their twenties while also fighting for Humanity's redemption... It's a difficult task with thousands of roadblocks and hurdles along the path.

But they aren't alone whether amongst their kind or creatures who've learned to love them as they are. The existential dread that overwhelms them gets easier to hold when they stop fighting madness and learn to laugh at the absurdity of the world around you;slowly it becomes a much easier battle to overcome...
