Autogenic Training (AT) is a psychophysical relaxation technique that aims to induce a state of calm and well-being through passive concentration on certain bodily functions. It is a self-training method that, with regular practice, allows you to acquire greater control over stress, anxiety and negative emotions, promoting psychophysical rebalancing and improving the quality of life.
AT is based on two fundamental principles:
Passive concentration: It focuses on specific bodily sensations, without effort or judgment, promoting relaxation and self-regulation.
Verbal formula: It uses short and simple formulas, repeated mentally, that describe the desired sensations and facilitate their achievement.
