The story begins with the parents of twins having the unique ability to see an aura around other people's heads, which shows the person's demeanor. When the parents die in a car crash, the twins are separated to live with different families. They find out about their ability many years later.
The main characters are the twins Jacob and Hannah. They both grow up in separate states and learn about their abilities by accident. They meet up in college and decide to use their abilities for the good of all. Both were constantly being followed by evil people who wanted to make a profit. and by Demons who wanted this ability to rule the world. The kid's guardian angels save the day. A lot of drama with odd coincidences and miracles happening along the way.
