In the world of Aethelgard, the apocalypse didn't happen all at once. It happened across three thousand years, and then it happened again.

Reality is no longer a linear progression of time; it is a failing simulation known as "The System." The boundaries between eras have shattered, creating "The Bleed"-zones where the medieval past, the corporate-driven present, and a dark, ruined future exist simultaneously. Here, high-tech soldiers from the Aegis Corporation trade fire with the iron-clad knights of the Earthen Legion, while "The Spire," a god-like machine tower, struggles to manage a world state that is rapidly de-rezzing.

At the center of this chaos is Kaelen, a "Scout" whose life is spent navigating the glitches and mapping the cracks in existence. Kaelen is a man of no era, surviving by his wits in the Grey Markets where history is bartered as data. But when he discovers the Sundered Crown-a relic capable of overwriting the very code of the world-he ceases to be a ghost in the machine. He becomes its most valuable asset, and its greatest threat.

As the "Season" approaches its Hard Reset, Kaelen must lead a desperate journey across fractured timelines. He will face "Users" with usernames floating in the sky, ancient dragons reborn from corrupted files, and the terrifying realization that his world is merely a playground for unseen Players.
