This is a classic article on the subject of playing church organs by Reginald Goss Custard, focusing on the proper use of the pedal and the general interpretation of organ music. This fantastic text offers the reader a comprehensive and step-by-step guide complete with helpful diagrams and simple, easy-to-understand directions; making it ideal for beginners or those getting back into organ playing. Contents include: "e;Working to a System"e;, "e;Position"e;, "e;Action"e;, "e;Application"e;, and "e;Interpretation"e;. Many vintage books such as this are increasingly scarce and expensive. It is with this in mind that we are republishing this volume now in an affordable, modern, high-quality edition complete with a specially-commissioned new introduction on the history of the organ.
