Die Inhalte wurden entzerrt und auf mehrere Hefte verteilt, so dass ein flexibler Zeitraum für den Schriftspracherwerb über das erste Schuljahr hinaus möglich ist. Das Starte-mit-Heft , als extra Vorkurs-Heft für den inklusiven Unterricht bereitet auf die Arbeit mit den Buchstabenheften vor. Alle Seiten der Hefte sind absolut klar strukturiert . Dazu wurden die bisherigen Aufgaben vereinfacht und von der Menge her reduziert . So können sich Kinder auf den Seiten gut orientieren und diese bearbeiten. Basis aller Hefte ist ein reduzierter Grundwortschatz, ohne sprachliche Stolpersteine. Die Hefte aus den Paketen A und B enthalten alle Inhalte des Schriftspracherwerbs. Die vier Hefte ab Paket C sind kompetenzorientiert aufgebaut und widmen sich je einem Bereich: Sprache untersuchen, Richtig schreiben, Texte schreiben, Lesen. Die Inklusionsausgabe kann parallel zur Basisausgabe eingesetzt werden, sodass alle Kinder inklusiv unterrichtet werden und an den für sie passenden Inhalten arbeiten. Die typischen Grundpfeiler von Flex und Flora bleiben auch in der Inklusionsausgabe erhalten.
