Ufology: A Very Short Introduction is the result of decades of reading and thinking about flying saucers, extraterrestrials, prehistory, ancient astronauts, megalithic architecture, alien encounters, contactees, abductees, and the government cover up; and, it's the result of years of discussing these topics with friends and students. So, informed by ufology, we are now able to sketch an improved outline of our past and our present, and we can project a little into what may be our future.
