Va viure la majoria de les construccions senyeres del segle XIX ?de ben aviat, a partirdels anys cinquanta?, va gaudir de colla pròpia entre 1889 i 1905, vaveure els dos únics 3 de 8 bastits en tot el món casteller a laprimera meitat del segle XX i també el primer 4 de 8 de la postguerra. Torredembarra, a més, deté l'honor de ser el primer municipi on podem documentar, en ple segle XVIII, la utilització del terme "torres ocastells" referit a les construccions setcentistes d'un ball devalencians. Per acabar-ho d'arrodonir, l'any 1975 va veure néixer elsNois de la Torre, una colla que en la seva primera temporada ja sesituava a la gamma alta de set ?va carregar fins i tot la torred'aquesta alçària. Tres segles, doncs, de castells, de tradició i decultura que fan de Torredembarra una plaça de primera magnitud.
