THUMP A writer sits at her desk, trying to write, when she hears a noise from down the hall. Is it the nightmare she imagines, or an opportunity to experience God's grace in the palm of her hand? Thump is a true-life testimony of the miracles that surround us each day. Written by international playwright and children's author, Lisa Soland, this picture book is sure to delight and inspire children of all ages. Lisa Soland (author) comes to the literary world as a renowned playwright with over 40 publications by Samuel French, Inc, Smith & Kraus, Applause Books and Dramatic Publishing. Her children's books, The Christmas Tree Angel and The Unmade Moose, have become an annual Christmas reading tradition for many families. Ms. Soland lives in the Smoky Mountains of Eastern Tennessee and teaches in the theatre department at Maryville College. Karah D. Tull (illustrator) is an eighth grade language arts teacher and native of Oak Ridge, Tennessee. She enjoys writing and drawing, as well as spending time with her husband, Dave, and her two children, Kennedy and Shepherd. This is Karah's first illustrated children's book.
