Change has dominated the health industry for the past forty years. On this journey, the author describes her life as a nurse, teacher, administrator, consultant, and civil servant working in hospitals, government, health associations, and private industry in both Canada and the United States. The narrative will carry you through the challenges of nurse's training, educating various health care workers and managers, planning the construction of large and small health facilities, and working in two provincial governments. This narrative includes the personal challenges faced by the author in the latter part of the twentieth century, including divorce and remarriage, and having dyslexia and Lupus. The narrative takes you from the Maritimes to British Columbia with a brief overture in Arizona. This book should appeal to those familiar with the health industry and to those interested in understanding its complexity. It is a journey of change, resiliency and learning.

Sally Robertson was born in Prince Edward Island, received her Bachelor of Science in Nursing from Mount Saint Vincent University in Halifax, her Master of Health Administration from the University of Ottawa, in Ottawa, and her PhD from Curtin University of Technology in Perth, Australia. In addition, she has a Diploma in Teaching in Schools of Nursing from Dalhousie University in Halifax, is the recipient of the Robert Wood Johnson Award, and is a Usui Reiki Master and Karuna Reiki Master. After forty years in the health industry, she is currently married, semi-retired and living on Vancouver Island, British Columbia.
