In diesem Band reicht das Spektrum von sprachwissenschaftlichen Beschreibungstechniken (z. B. textlinguistischen, korpuspragmatischen und stilistischen) über literaturwissenschaftliche (z. B. Autoren- oder Epochenstile) bis hin zu sprachdidaktischen (z. B. Textproduktionsroutinen).
