In jedem quadratischen 3 x 3-Block sind Zahlen zwischen 1 und 9 vorgegeben. Diese vorgegebenen Zahlen gilt es so zu ergänzen, dass jede Zahl zwischen 1 und 9 nur einmal vorkommt. Auch in den neun Spalten und neun Zeilen des gesamten Sudoku-Rätsels dürfen die Zahlen von 1 bis 9 nur einmal vorkommen. Die Sudoku-Rätsel sind in die Schwierigkeitsstufen sehr leicht, leicht, mittelschwer, schwer und sehr schwer eingeteilt.
