Pour son exposition « Sporal » au Palais de Tokyo, Mimosa Echard conçoit, de manière collaborative, un jeu vidéo inspiré du cycle de vie de myxomycètes, invitant à parcourir les cavités d'un organisme en perpétuelle transformation. Au rythme d'une bande sonore pop-expérimentale, la projection d'une déambulation au sein du jeu se répand sur un patchwork aux motifs psychédéliques. L'environnement onirique qui s'y déploie, ponctué de temps de latence, génère un univers métaphorique et surréel depuis lequel l'artiste repense les liens entre sexualité et reproduction.Ce livre comprend une contribution visuelle de Mimosa Echard, une riche iconographie, intégrant des vues de son exposition au Palais de Tokyo, un essai de Pip Wallis et un entretien entre Mimosa Echard et Daria de Beauvais, commissaire de l'exposition.
