In recent years, scientists and engineers working on environmental and industrial problems have renewed their interest in water-soluble synthetic polymers because of their very broad range of applications. This book provides, detail aspect of kinetics and mechanism of the homo and co- polymerization reactions of acrylamide on the montmorillonite surfaces by different redox systems involving the intercalated metal ions. A study of solution properties of polyacrylamide in good solvent and bad solvent mixtures has been discussed.
