Au pays de Pasteur, nous nous méfions de la Science alors que, grâce à elle, une révolution se prépare. Julien a été ministre de l'Agriculture. Érik aurait rêvé de l'être. Pour tenter de comprendre et de dépasser ces contradictions, nous sommes partis en voyage. Aux quatre coins de la France, mais aussi ailleurs en Europe. Et en Chine, au Brésil, en Égypte, en Ukraine. Nous avons visité des fermes et des élevages de toutes tailles et des labos prometteurs. Nous avons rencontré des personnages d'aujourd'hui, de demain mais aussi d'hier. Loin de tomber toujours d'accord, nous nous sommes réunis sur l'enjeu essentiel : nourrir toujours plus d'êtres humains sans dévaster leur planète.
