Neue Grafik, die «Internationale Zeitschrift für Grafik und verwandte Gebiete», wurde vom Zürcher Gestalter Josef Müller-Brockmann initiiert und von einem Redaktionskollektiv, bestehend aus ihm, Richard Paul Lohse, Hans Neuburg und Carlo Vivarelli (LMNV), in 18 Nummern zwischen 1958 und 1965 veröffentlicht. Die Bände sind nun als hervorragender Faksimile-Nachdruck exklusiv bei Lars Müller Publishers erschienen. Neue Grafik kann aus historischer Sicht als programmatische Plattform und wirksamstes publizistisches Organ der zu ihrer Zeit international massgeblichen Schweizer Grafik betrachtet werden. In der Zeitschrift wurde von den Protagonisten der Schweizer Schule beziehungsweise ihrer strengen Zürcher Fraktion ein fundamentaler Diskurs über die Grundlagen einer angesagten objektiven Kommunikation und einer konstruktiven Gestaltung geführt. Der Einfluss der Bewegung kann nicht hoch genug eingeschätzt werden. Weltweit wurde die Schweizer Schule, auch «International Style» genannt, zum Vorbild.
