So eröffnet das Studium des Isländischen nicht nur den Zugang zu einem in vielerlei Hinsicht attraktiven Land, sondern auch zu einer glanzvollen und eigenartigen Kulturwelt, an der alle germanischen Völker ihren Anteil gehabt haben.
