175 years before the events of "Nightfall" the world ended in fire and plague. The Scourge rose as mankind fell and by the time the dust settled there was no one left to witness it. But we weren't gone. Slinking from the ruins of the old world came those who endured, those who fought, and those who survived. We are the survivors, and we're taking this world back.

"Legend: Western North America 2" contains the stories of different people from different times and locations from the World of Nightfall.

As humanity rebuilds and the daily struggles of simply existing fade behind them, they turn once again on each other. Infested by Scourge and wracked by war, the west coast's fight to survive has turned into a battle against each other and themselves as factions swell beyond their borders. The Republic marches relentlessly onward, desperate to feed the furnaces of industry while others, like the Seafarers Union, are content to simply exist away from the cares of the mainland. Yet while territory squabbles persist and borders are bickered over, a war has already been raging for decades in the far north.
