Assurer le recouvrement de l'impôt est une des missions essentielles de l'État, dont l'Administration a en charge la mise en oeuvre suivant des procédures qui sont souvent bien complexes.Un contribuable, qu'il s'agisse d'une entreprise, d'un groupement, d'une association ou même d'un simple citoyen, peut-il aisément s'en faire entendre ?Il importe, pour y parvenir, d'en bien connaître les principaux rouages et prérogatives, qui seuls permettent d'exercer utilement l'ensemble des recours ouverts à chacun.Quels sont ces droits ?Ils diffèrent selon qu'ils visent à obtenir la mainlevée ou le cantonnement de saisies ou de poursuites (opposition à poursuites ou à contrainte) ou le bénéfice d'une mesure de sursis (sursis de paiement, référé-suspension...).Les procédures destinées à les mettre en oeuvre obéissent, par ailleurs, et dans nombre decas, à des règles spécifiques (réclamation préalable...), qui sont différentes de celles applicables au contentieux de l'assiette.En effet, le contentieux du recouvrement ne vise pas à contester les modalités de calcul de l'impôt, mais les mesures d'exécution diligentées par l'Administration fiscale.
