Issues in TESOL

Implementations, the second in the Issues in TESOL (teaching English to speakers of other languages) book series, focuses on the practical aspects of concern to many an educator, especially when beginning their careers. This includes developing an understanding of the guiding principles behind the art of teaching, and how to effectively frame lessons for student engagement. Also covered are the means of how teachers can determine, prior to entering the classroom, how they will conduct themselves professionally. How to manage the classroom for maximum benefit when required to teach students of varying ages, proficiencies, and motivational levels, while understanding how to best deliver content and provide correction is provided.
