This book sets out to give a full and authoritative survey of the scholarly literature on the Roman poet Horace (65-8 BC), a central figure in Latin literature and Western culture, concentrating on the period since 1957. It begins with a brief survey of key resources, focussing especially on material available online, and then looks at the overall shape of Horace's poetic career.
