Winner of the best collection of short stories by the Georgia Independent Author Association in 2022, Grimmer Folk Stories is based upon Grimm's Fairy Tales. If you have ever read the original Grimm brother's tales, you would quickly realize those stories would scare the heck out of children. I just took that concept and expanded upon it, so that these stories would scare the heck out of adults! The stories known as Grimm's Fairy Tales have had figurative childproof locks applied to their pages by smart writers using fairy dust and a knowledge that within those stories were indeed vivid tales of imagination. But unlike the child friendly versions you have seen in picture books and on the big screen, these stories reflect a darker vision that I think the Brothers Grimm would have preferred. I don't recommend reading these folk stories to children unless you want them to have nightmares. Then by all means......
