"Dieci storie blu" è il primo progetto di racconti divulgativi del programma di Educazione all'Oceano promosso dalla Commissione Oceanografica Intergovernativa dell'UNESCO, nato per raccontare ai ragazzi le Scienze del Mare. In queste dieci storie, raccontate in prima persona da ricercatori e ricercatrici, oltre a spiegare le scoperte scientifiche compiute dai nostri protagonisti, vogliamo dare un assaggio della vita nella ricerca, mostrandone i lati meno conosciuti: i momenti più emozionanti, più strani (a volte persino assurdi) che la rendono imprevedibile e bellissima. Ogni racconto parte da una ricerca scientifica, ma le storie non si fermano a laboratori, provette e camici. Qualcuno dei ricercatori ha condiviso l'emozione della scoperta di una nuova specie durante le feste di Natale, altri ci hanno fatto assaporare l'avventura di una vita dall'altra parte del mondo, qualcun altro ci ha confidato la paura di immergersi per la prima volta nel mare... Perché in fondo è il mare il vero protagonista delle nostre storie, con le sue acque blu profondo e la meravigliosa varietà di vita che ospita. Età di lettura: da 10 anni.
