Vor allem dieser zweite Titel war für sie mehr als eine Verszeile - er war ihr poetisches Programm: Trotz allen existentiellen Gefahren, die sie bis zur Neige durchlebt und durchlitten hatte, beharrte sie in ihren Gedichten auf der Einsicht, daß die wahren Schönheiten der Welt unverletzlich sind und also nicht versinken können. Den Erinnerungen an die Jahre der Angst und des Hungers hält sie die Zeilen entgegen: "Ich träume mich satt/an Geschichten/und Geheimnissen."
