Genaue Kenntnisse über die Biologie und die Ansprüche sind eine Voraussetzung für den Schutz des kleinsten heimischen Schläfers.§Die Autoren stellen Ergebnisse eigener Freilandforschungen seit mehr als 25 Jahren und Erfahrungen mit öffentlichkeitswirksamen Projekten zur Haselmaus in den Kontext der internationalen Literatur und legen damit die erste Monografie zu dieser faszinierenden Art in deutscher Sprache vor.
