Esta disciplina se ha centrado por ańos en un modelo epistemológico que concibe al hombre como dos realidades antropológicas distintas, a saber: cuerpo y mente. Se hace necesaria una nueva mirada y tomar el riesgo de romper la inercia conceptual sobre una disciplina con bajo reconocimiento e identidad sobre su objeto de estudio. Se propone a la Motricidad Humana como un elemento que trasciende a la educación física, desde una mirada compleja del ser humano, resaltando su corporeidad, desde un cuerpo - sujeto y en la acción como una instancia fundamental de conocimiento y creación de valor. Botando Paradigmas es una invitación a cuestionar la formación y práctica de los profesores de educación física y emprender nuevos caminos que permitan configurar una disciplina diferente.
