La complexation de la base de Schiff préparée et de (1,10 phénanthroline ou TMEDA) comme ligand mixte avec différents ions métalliques de transition a été effectuée. Ce nanoligand et ses complexes métalliques binaires et mixtes présentent deux nouvelles caractéristiques : (1) un chélateur d'ions métalliques efficace et (2) il peut jouer un rôle pivot en tant qu'agent antimicrobien et anticancéreux.
