Es resultiert ein neues Verständnis, das auch die Asperger-Störung als eigenständiges Muster identifiziert, ohne sie zu einer vermeintlich «leichteren» Form des Autismus zu erklären. Kybernetik und Synergetik bilden die theoretische Basis einer universellen Konzeptionierung, deren Ziel es ist, der Komplexität des Störungsbildes gerecht zu werden. Die Arbeit stellt eine Absage an jeglichen Reduktionismus dar und ist damit entwicklungspsychologische Basis für eine gelingende Pädagogik der Inklusion.
