O estudo teve como objetivo principal conhecer o trabalho docente a partir da relação com os aspectos afetivo, cognitivo e motor de crianças da Educação Infantil, vendo de que forma essa relação contribui para o desenvolvimento cognitivo dessas crianças. O estudo se justifica por ser uma temática que tem obtido crescente discussão no campo educacional, bem como por inquietações relacionadas ao entendimento da afetividade e da cognição na sala de Educação Infantil enquanto docente. Os resultados da pesquisa nos apontaram à importância de considerarmos que a afetividade exerce um papel fundamental para o desenvolvimento cognitivo das crianças da Educação Infantil e que se faz necessário percebermos o importante papel desempenhado pelas professoras no contexto escolar, para que seja vivenciada efetivamente a construção de boas relações em sala de aula. Por fim, concluímos que as docentes se relacionam bem com seus alunos trazendo resultados agradáveis para a aprendizagem e para o desenvolvimento integral da criança a partir da consideração de aspectos afetivo, cognitivo e motor.
