She slowly reveals her trials and tribulations as the ship moves along the four rivers it must cross to sail Europe from the Black Sea to the North Sea, from Istanbul to Amsterdam. At each stop and along the way, the stranger reveals details and clues that send Dee and friends scurrying around in the present and plodding through the past following a timeless story of war-torn intrigue. The story becomes even more real as the past merges with the present and Dee and friends scramble to survive an ordeal that began more than seventy years ago.
