Für Nemanja Radulovic ist jedenfalls klar: Eine neue Einspielung erfordert einen ganz persönlichen Zugang zu dem Werk. Dies erklärt auch seinen Wunsch, Tschaikowskys zwei bedeutendste Werke für Streicher und Orchester auf ein Album zu bannen und die Variationen - in Erinnerung an seine Kindheit - auf der Bratsche einzuspielen, begleitet von seinem Ensemble Double Sens. Das Ergebnis ist absolut überzeugend - die Kombination von Bratsche und verkleinertem Begleitensemble verleiht dem Werk eine Leichtigkeit und Energie, die perfekt zum neoklassizistischen Geist von Tschaikowskys Stück passt. Mit Tschaikowskys Violinkonzert setzte sich Radulovic dagegen mit einem der virtuosesten Werke für Violine auseinander; Radulovic experimentiert hier mit häufigen Stimmungswechseln und verändert zudem einige Phrasierungen am Ende des ersten Satzes: Für ihn steht die durchgängige Frische des Werks im Vordergrund, von den "spitzesten" bis zu den "rundesten " Klängen. Nemanja Radulovic wurde 2015 mit einem ECHO Klassik ausgezeichnet.
